Physalis

Physalis, commonly known as ground cherry, is enclosed in a thin, papery calyx and is valued for its sweet-tart flavor with nuanced tropical undertones. It is widely used in culinary applications, including garnishes, preserves, and confections.  Our harvest runs from June through December.
