Padrón

Originating from Galicia in northwestern Spain, Padrón peppers are small, green peppers known for their delicate vegetal flavour and mild heat, although some individual peppers can be considerably hotter. Traditionally enjoyed grilled or fried, they are also versatile in modern culinary applications. Typically available from May through October.
